Beschreibung: This lecture will introduce students to key concepts of English Grammar and how they can be described and analyzed linguistically. On the basis of Huddleston & Pullum (2021) we will look at parts of speech, phrases, clauses, syntactic patterns, and morphological phenomena.
This lecture is available for V2/V-SW/FWB=2 LP (final written test, pass/no pass), V2/V-SW=4 LP (final written test, graded) and B-SW=3 LP (final written test, graded) . GHR 2 LP (graded) is also based on the final written test.
