Study Project: Human-A and EEG (Part II)

DozentIn: Prof. Dr. med. Peter König , Tracy Sanchez Pacheco , Debora Nolte, M. Sc.

Veranstaltungstyp: Studienprojekt

Ort: 93/E12

Zeiten: Di. 14:00 - 16:00 (wöchentlich)

Beschreibung: Spatial navigation is a multidimensional cognitive process that combines wayfinding and purposeful movement (König et al., 2019). However, comprehending the intricacies of this phenomenon in humans still poses challenges. This project aims to understand how having human agents inside a virtual reality (VR) city can alter information retrieval after repeated free explorations in the city inspired by the methods used in Rounds and colleagues (2020).

Your role would include activities such as:

- Adjust and alter an already existing VR (Unity) project.
- Recruit and measure participants.
- Classify eye movements and analyze behavioral data.
- Analyze EEG data, specifically event-related synchronization/desynchronization analysis.
